Billie: ‘My siblings ignore me’

Older sisters, eh? They’re so embarrassing. Particularly when they win acting roles playing high-class call girls and repeatedly get their kit off on TV.
Secret Diary of a Call Girl actress Billie Piper has revealed that her younger siblings – she has a brother, Charlie and two sisters, Harley and Ellie – are oblivious to her achievements.
“My siblings ignore anything I do,” said the 26-year-old star. “They find it embarrassing and I get that... They don’t want my success to become the topic of conversation.”
But it doesn’t stop there. Added Billie: “They just take everything down in the house with me on when their mates come round. They just ignore that we are related. I don’t blame them.”
And what of mum and dad? What do they make of her raunchy scenes in the ITV2 show? “They are OK with it,” she said. “Nothing really shocks them when it comes to certain choices I make. My dad doesn’t watch it, that would be a bit weird. But my mum finds it hilarious!”
Billie spills all on the series opener of new chat programme The Justin Lee Collins Show, which starts tonight on ITV2, alongside fellow Doctor Who companion Catherine Tate and King of Queens star Kevin James.
Presumably Charlie, Harley and Ellie won’t be tuning in…
